im still feeling stupid from last night. its cold out today though, and that definately helps alleviate hang over symptoms.

yesterday was a do-nothing day. i could live like this forever. we went for pancakes in the morning, because theres no food in the house. then we packed up more shit to bring out to the storage locker. the apartment is down to the bare bones now, beds, computers, tvs, microwave, paper plates.

im so excited to move into the new place! i hate moving, but i love it too. getting rid of junk i didnt even realize i had, changing things up. we are going to have a big, beautiful second story porch facing the street. i want to have a dinner and beer party soon after we move in.

last night resh called to see if i wanted to go to the nitty gritty. i was like, oh we have to make one more trip out to the storage locker, and then we will call you back. well, that was stupid of me, because the nitty is a birthday bar, and it sucks so much that no one ever goes there unless its someones birthday. so it turned out to be resh's birthday, and i was glad that i showed up! and brought along brian and our roommate.

i focused on consuming whiskey all night, and it paid off. somehow whiskey is more fun than any other alcohol. its silly. we had irish car bombs at the blue velvet, and melon ball shots. then we went to the paradise, and that was the most fun. the juke box there is pretty awesome, and i was dancing a little and talking to just about anyone near me who didnt look like a creep.

at closing, there was a lot of ruckus and confusion trying to gather everyone together, and push off into the direction of resh's apartment. brian was funny, he wanted to order pokey sticks so bad that he was super anxious about getting everyone rounded up. luke let me drag off his cigarette a few times, and it was weird because when i was drunk, it didnt hurt my lungs at all. scary. i wont be smoking cigs again, ever!

so then we were at resh's place, where she had chocolate chip cookies. we ordered the blessed pokey sticks and played a game called hoopla, which was, as it promised, a hoopla of good times.

and that is what i did last night!
