went to see sonic youth last night. it was, as predicted, pretty much totally awesome. kim was looking so hot in her pink dress. i was "concert dancing" the whole time, pretty hard too, since my knee was killing me by the end.
at the very end, they played about 15 minutes of musical feedback, although it seemed like at least an hour. it sounded good, but it made me so sleeeepy...i wanted to lay down and listen with my eyes closed.
i was supposed to go with my sister, but she bailed when le tigre dropped out. i almost did too! le tigre wouldve made my year, if i couldve seen them again. anyway, so then i ended up going with chris and his friends...which was awkward for me. not as bad as in the past, when my heart would buzz like a mouse on a wheel and my palms would moisten and my throat would ache with paralysis. no, now im "comfortable" with my social anxiety issues. im "okay" with being the quiet one.
well, i wasnt that quiet. but, now that i actually talk to people i dont know, i quickly realize that there are many many people that i do not care to talk to.
tonight is modest mouse!!!! woohoo!!!!
